- Class 1c
- Class 1, Corroboration: Reports involving a sighting, and accompanied by another form of support.1c An investigator determines that a visual encounter with a sasquatch/bigfoot by a very reliable observer is a distinct possibility, tangible corroborating evidence is documented, and all other sources can be reasonably ruled out.

- Class 3, Credibility: Sightings or possible wood ape evidence reported by credible witnesses.3b Unidentifiable vocalizations were reported and there is accompanying tangible evidence to possibly indicate the presence of a sasquatch/bigfoot, the observer is very reliable, and other sources can be reasonably ruled out.
- Class 3c
- Class 3, Credibility: Sightings or possible wood ape evidence reported by credible witnesses.3c No visual encounter occurred, but physical evidence was found to indicate the presence of a sasquatch/bigfoot (tracks, hair, scat, etc.), the observer is very reliable, and other sources can be reasonably ruled out.

Witness Account:
walking a trail and first I smelled a skunk and then heard a little growl and with it an attempted rooster cackle and then allot of breaking of twigs on the ground like it was moving and all was on the left of me on this trail. I walked faster and it stopped and as I rounded a curve, I heard a large and loud bird type call and rocks falling out of a tree on the right, but I walked even faster and at the end of the trail was my car. Each encounter was within 20 feet from me. I drove away. I have had two more encounters since then. I have not had a visual. I have never encountered anything like this before and have walked these trails many times. The second encounter was about a week later in the early afternoon on a weekend. I was laying on the beach by the same wooded area where the first encounter was. I was reading and it was getting hot, but I smelled the strong scent of urine, and I felt the ground shake like something heavy fell. I then heard that same loud bird type call and it went on for a minute, so I quickly walked to my car and drove away. The third encounter was last week. I drove to my parking spot and was getting out of my car and was groaning really loud as I was stretching my back out but because of the air quality here in Michigan, I was then just doing stretches by my car early morning around 8:30 and I heard from across the road a really long moan it was coming from the trees and was cut off by beagles barking in the distance. I want to collect some evidence but thinking at this point the ape may not be afraid of me. I have to get some evidence like a visual or something I feel.
