Witness Account:
While performing maintenance on a road department tractor with a coworker, I noticed movement in my peripheral vision from the woods.
The object appeared to raise its head as though looking toward us while machinery and tools were operating.
It remained mostly motionless and appeared to watch us.
Both I and my coworker independently noticed the object.
I photographed the area immediately.
Later that day I returned to inspect the location.
The object was gone.
I found disturbed ground where I believed something had been positioned.
I found no stump, root ball, or fallen log matching what had been seen in the photograph.

I do not claim this was a bigfoot, I don’t know what I saw.

I talked to the witness today about his sighting. The witness and a co-worker had stopped their vehicle to do some maintenance on a piece of equipment. The 2 were working doing road maintenance in that area. The 2 men saw something move on the side of the road approximately 75 yards off. They noticed something black moving in their peripheral vision. They could not identify what they saw. Black bears were rare in the area and being black the figure was not a deer or any other known animal. The figure appeared to hunker down when they noticed the figure. The estimated height of the figure was about 4 feet. The figure did not move and was pretty much still as the men observed. The witness took 2 pictures with his cell phone zoomed in as close as possible. After watching the figure for about a minute the men went about their business. The witness brush hogged the side of the road most of the day. Later that day the witness explored the area. He did notice a matted down area but no discernable smell was present. The witness said the area was pretty remote with the only house in the area about 2.5 miles away. The sighting occurred around 8am in early July, 2025 and the weather was clear and sunny.
