Investigator's Observations
Investigator(s): Bob Strain
Follow-up investigation witness comments:
"I don't remember much now but it was midday around 2. Me and friend were riding bikes and making a lot of noise. I was in front and I wasn't paying much attention down the embankment but what I saw was lengthy and around 7-8ft tall with all black fur . The embankment wasnt near vertical but really steep ( too steep for anything to run up that I know of in NC ) and when it crossed the trail it was running. We stopped almost immediately and it was gone."
