Deer Hunters Hear Extremely Loud Screams in Big Thicket

Report Details

Occurrence date: November/2021
Location: Hardin County, TX
Nearby/Vicinity: Bragg/Thicket/Honey Island
Time / Conditions: 06:00 — Almost daen
# of Witnesses: 4

Witness Account:
I was sitting in my deer stand at 5:50 am waiting for sun up. My lease was in Harden county, on FM 1293 just across from Bragg Road. I hear coyotes start howling to my 11:00 position. I enjoy listening to them. A second pack, to my 7:00 position started. I have never heard so many. Then a 3rd pack started directly at my 9:00 position, which was directly toward Bragg Road. Within 5 seconds after the 3rd pack started, there was a loud, angry roar/howl/growl. It was so close. Immediately every coyote was silent. Just like he told them to shut up. It sounded like the Ohio Howl but really pissed off. 3 other hunters heard it too. We all got back to camp after the morning hunt at about 9:30. I asked if anyone else heard the coyotes. 2 men and another woman said emphatically, YES! Did you hear that yell, they all did send asked what did I think it was. I said, Bigfoot. About that time, the lease manager walked by and heard us talking. He said yes, it is Bigfoot, he saw him when he was a kid.
