Witness Account:
A black ape with huge arms and a large torso ran across Highway 8 about 10 miles East of the Minnesota Wisconsin border. Its back was shining in the sunlight appearing wet, as if it had been laying down and had just got up. It wasn't a bear because it ran like a monkey using its huge arms to propel itself onto its feet, with the process repeating. It moved with terrific speed as it ran southbound out of sight.
