Report Details

Occurrence date: September/2022
Location: Cooke County, TX
Nearby/Vicinity: Valley View
Time / Conditions: 11:00 — From sunny and hot as can be, to night and pitch black
# of Witnesses: 2

Witness Account:
I just moved into my new home and I don’t know what the hell is happening. Me and my wife have seen 3 white/blonde Bigfoot and one huge ashy colored one. I am NOT a Bigfoot enthusiast. I’m concerned for my family's safety. DAILY TREE BREAKS AND SNAPS, a tree turned upside down! Tracks. I feel they are watching us at all times. I can hear them. This is out of my element I have no idea where to turn. I have spent my entire life in nature hunting and fishing and this is not normal.

Sounds:
Walking with us anywhere we go, out of place calls, tree snaps, pebbles thrown, tapping on my windows while in bed with my wife!

Investigator's Observations

Investigator(s): Ed Harrison, Tony Schmidt, Jerry Hestand and Mark Porter

The witness was first interviewed by myself (Ed Harrison) on the phone and it was evident that the witness was very shaken. The witness started texting me quite a bit with more information regarding their ongoing observations and said they were scared, asking when I could come to the site to investigate. I realized I couldn't get out there as quickly as they would like due to my current constraints at work. I contacted Jerry Hestand (NAWAC Investigator) since he was fairly close to this location to see if he could perform a site visit. Jerry said he would be willing to contact the witness and perform an investigation. After Jerry's initial contact, he and Mark Porter (NAWAC Investigator) decided to investigate the site and spend the night at the property. Below is Jerry's account.

Mark and I arrived around 13:00 on Thursday the 23rd of September, 2022. We talked to the witness and went to the beach (lake shore). They own acreage that was separated from Lake Ray Roberts by Corp of Engineers (COE) land. This COE shore line was very secluded and was about 100 yards wide and varied based on the season and lake level. [The property consists of open pasture and dense wooded areas with Juniper trees.] The witness said much of the activity began at their home when the neighbors started clearing trees by chainsaw on COE land.

On the beach there were several track-ways of small individuals - they did not look human. The prints were now dry, originally in mud, and probably two weeks old. Some tracks were 12 inches long and about four (4) to five (5) inches wide at the ball. There was no match to the boots the witness was wearing. Tracks varied from two (2) to eight (8) inches deep. The edges of the tracks were smooth and some, but not all, had vague toe prints. In each track there was a mound in between the ball and toes. These were not mid-tarsal breaks but probably push off points. Definitely not fakes. We saw a few boot tracks but these had the signature sharp edges and boot indentations. We started to take pictures but decided to wait until dark and use the old sideways-flashlight trick to show more definition. We came back later but the trick did not work. [Hence, very few photos of tracks were obtained.]

We planned for a night op and decided to camp in the woods across the road. We went there before dark and set up camp about 40 yards in some brush. After sitting in the woods until around 23:00, we were getting restless; we hadn’t heard a peep and saw nothing through the night vision. We walked to the road and started walking towards the main property, we were walking directly towards the neighbor’s house in total darkness when I saw a huge dark upright figure run from the witness' property to the gate (where a gray one had also been allegedly sighted by the witness in a prior incident.) We were probably 40 yards away from it. Mark did not see it. The figure was large and bulky with no neck. It covered at least 40 feet in about 2 seconds. It was hard to tell how tall, but it was big! This was also in the same area where the witness claims a stick was photographed and caught flying through the air and caught on a trail camera (see attached photo).

We went to the witness' back porch and walked around the woods with no lights and then returned to the beach. Later around midnight we heard what sounded like a man talking, this was located in the dark part of the woods where we had just returned from. (The witness talked to the neighbor and he said it wasn't him talking in the woods at night.)

At about 01:30 the witness went to bed. Mark slept in the garage and I returned to my tent in the woods. There was no further activity to report.
