Witness Account:
I was about 16 years old at the time this took place. I do remember this very clearly though and still get an eery feeling when thinking of it. A friend and I were walking late one night down a highway to another friends house when we heard dogs barking a little ways into the trip. The highway is surrounded on both sides by thick woods with a few houses near the edge of the hwy. The dogs were at the bottom of a hill under a street light and all around a garbage dumpster belonging to one of the houses. As we got closer to them we could see maybe 4 dogs barking at what we thought was a larger dog digging through the trash, its head and shoulders inside the dumpster itself. We stopped, thinking the dogs were going to maybe chase us but they never did as they were focused on the other "dog" inside the trash bin. As we began to take a few steps closer, thinking we would be OK to continue to our other friends house, the "dog" bent inside the dumpster STOOD UP onto its hind feet just as a regular human would stand. When it stood we could only see the side of it and as it was fairly late at night we could only make out its silhouette. Right away, and I can only speak for myself as my friend would not talk about it back then anymore but I would love to locate him today and get his side, I got a very eery feeling like I saw something I should not have and the thing turned, from its side, swiveling its hip as a man would do and looked directly at us. It was at this point the friend with me yelled to run and he turned and ran back to his house at the top of the hill. Before I followed, though, I saw the thing raise its arms up and could see the silhouette of long fur hanging down from its armpits, and watched it turn to run into the woods as I turned and ran. We did not smell anything out of the ordinary. To this day I remember this night clearly, as I have said, I guess because this is the only time in my life I have seen something like this. Any info would be appreciated.
