Witness Account:
While driving down either CR 1221 just north of London, Texas, or just south of London on 377 at Thanksgiving time heading to my deer lease around midnight to 2am; I noticed a very tall and large "person?" cross the road. It was strange, as I first thought it a person wearing dark clothes at night and that was really stupid. Upon getting closer, I realized that this was not a person in a ghilly suit; it was covered with dark fur or hair. When it reached the 4ft fence, it proceeded to step over the fence as if it were a step. Initially I was thinking bear walking upright, but as soon as my mind wrapped around that it was not a bear, I immediately hit the brakes and turned around to see if I could see it again. I did see the actual fence and exact area where it crossed the fence, and the fence was fully intact. I could not make out where it was and I lost track of it.
Hand/foot prints:
Grass was tall and conditions were dry.
Sounds:
None while checking the fence
Additional observations:
Nothing other than the area I watched where it cross, was a fully intact 4ft fence that it stepped over much like you and I would do a 1ft fence. It just lifted its leg up like it was a step. No straddle, or side stepping over it.
