Witness Account:
A buddy and I were hunting in Johnson creek bottom in Price, Texas. We were both 17 and had hunted this bottom for a long time. We were parked in a large open area with the pickup facing the woods and the dirt trail behind us. We had decided to sit in the truck and wait until the sun came up just a little because our tree stands were still about a 15 minute walk through very thick woods and marsh and we had no flash lights. At about 6 am the it had begun to get light enough to see fairly well, my buddy was on the driver side evidently gazing out of the side mirror as was I on the passenger side. We were not talking, but just waiting to start our walk. I happened to look in the side mirror and this thing on two legs walked from behind the truck and walked into the woods on my side of the truck.I looked at my friend and he was looking at me, He asked if I had seen that and when I said yes we both sat there for maybe twenty more minutes and finally got out to look behind the truck, Also the truck had a camper shell on it so we could not see anything directly behind us. There were no tracks but the ground was very hard as it was middle of winter and very cold out. We did not hunt that day. The thing itself looked to stand maybe 6 feet maybe a little more, it was very dark almost black , it had no neck that I could tell but almost looked like its head rested on its shoulders ,it swung its arms when it walked and long hair was hanging from them almost like fringe. The arms looked like they might be longer than its legs. I did not see its face, it never looked at us but looked straight ahead in the direction it was going. there was no smell, and the hair on its body looked matted in places. It made no noise until it reached the woods on my side and then it was just the sounds of something large pushing brush and vines aside. We never told anyone except family, but many people have reported hearing strange screams and hollering down in that bottom.
