Witness Account:
I am not sure if it was in 2010 or 2011. I live in very rural Parker Co.. I was lying in bed watching tv. At the time I did not have any drapes or blinds on the windows in my bed room. I started hearing this loud knocking noise...It was very loud and sounded like something hitting a hollow tree. It did not have a pattern to the noise. So I turned the tv off and layed there listening and the noise stopped. I then turned the tv back on and it started again. The area around my house is very brushy and overgrown with native trees and bushes. I then got out of bed slowly and called my sister, while on the phone I went into my bathroom that is located on the same outside wall as the noise was coming from in the bedroom and stood close to the window, in the shower in which you cannot see into, and she could even hear the knocking sound over the phone! I then hung up and got a gun and slowly walked through the bedroom in front of the windows so that if anyone was outside looking in they would see that I had a gun. The noise then stopped. I never went out and looked for evidence after that. This all took place before the show about Big foot was introduced. A few months later, I was watching the show and the sound that they demonstrated was the exact sound that I had heard. I was recently researching bird sounds and came across this website and saw that there has been other incidents in my area.
