Witness Account:
My sister and I were taking a walk through the woods behind our house. We did this frequently. We would follow the animal trails through the woods. I remember that we were in the woods but near a fenceline that was adjacent to a neighbor's pasture. We looked up and saw a big black figure (like a large man) walking along the fenceline. Its arms swung by its sides and then it stopped and turned towards us. The figure was dark like a silouette. It had very broad shoulders. We turned around and ran as fast as we could. I never looked back.
I remember telling my parents that we saw a ghost. So for the longest time, I always believed that what I saw was a ghost walking. The idea of it being a sasquatch/big foot never occured to me until 22 years later when my mother was telling me that the newspaper had an article about all the sightings reported in the area. My sister doesn't remember the incident anymore. She was about 5 at the time and I was 7.
Hand/foot prints:
Long strides with long swinging arms.
