Witness Account:
Hubby and I were returning home to Kentucky from The Woodlands, Texas, where we had spent the Thanksgiving holidays with our daughter.
Side note but important: While heading *to* The Woodlands we rescued a young dog who was dodging cars on the highway.
Horrified, we stopped and I jumped out to save the dog, but the dog passed me and got into the car and licked hubby.
Well, Long story short no owners could be located and all believed that the dog was just another abandoned pet, and so the sheriff agreed to keep the dog until we returned to pick him up on Monday. Monday we picked up the dog, and we had purchased all necessary supplies for the dog needed for the trip home so we were really running late.
Due to all of this hubby set the GPS to take us the **shortest** route home heading towards Texarkana.
Bucky, the rescued dog, was sitting behind the front 2 bucket seats on the platform formed by putting the 2 rows of back seats down so Bucky could lie down and not tear up the leather car seats. Thus I was turned to my left petting and talking to the dog while looking out of the Suburban's windows towards the woods on the left side of the car.
Suddenly we found ourselves on a rutted dirt road, so hubby reduced his speed and he was driving and I was looking out his window and the windshield wondering how we ended up on a dirt road when we had not come into Texas on a dirt road.
As we topped an incline I saw a huge and tall black creature on the side of the road standing on 2 legs. As I watched he bent down, twisted to his left, and ducked behind a large tree.I saw a Bigfoot and we were 5 miles into the dirt road area.
Just before this big whole body sighting from thighs up I has noticed what looked like something tall, dark and large ducking behind a tree, and I then saw an arm covered with long grayish brown hair reaching towards an adjoining tree, then a few seconds later I saw the full body from middle to upper thighs to head.
Hubby refused to go back and look for evidence, but hubby did remark that the mileage on the dirt road had been 5 miles from hitting the dirt road until the sighting.
