Witness Account:
I WAS FISHING WITH A FRIEND AT A POND NEXT TO GREENS BAYOU BETWEEN UVALDE AND FEDERAL RD AT THE END OF WOODFOREST. IT WAS ABOUT 2AM WHEN WE HEARD A SPLASHING SOUND ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE POND ABOUT 100 FT AWAY. I TURNED ON MY FLASHLIGHT AND THIS CREATURE STOOD UP AND FROZE STARING AT US. IT WAS ALL BLACK ABOUT 7FT TALL ITS FACE WAS COVERED IN FUR AND THE ONLY FEATURE I COULD MAKE OUT WERE GLOWING RED EYES. MY FRIEND STARTED GOING AROUND THE POND TO GET A CLOSER LOOK AND IT TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK IN THE WOODS. WE PACKED UP OUR GEAR AND STARTED GOING TO MY CAR AND IT STARTED THROWING THINGS AT US BUT NEVER HIT US.
