Two Hunters Have Daytime Sighting of Bipedal Creature

Report Details

Occurrence date: Summer/1983
Location: Fort Bend County, TX
Nearby/Vicinity: Rosenberg
Time / Conditions: 10:00 — clear night using a spot light
# of Witnesses: 2

Witness Account:
My nephew and I were rabbit hunting by the Brazos River on my parent property at night. We were spot lighting, I was looking off in one direction while my nephew was spotting in another, he said "I saw something." I asked, "What a rabbit" he said,"No, I don't know what". He was spotting the edge of the wood line and at the same time we both saw a creature walking on two legs at a fast walk with long arms. It appeared to be about 5 foot tall from where we were about 100 yds or so away on the top of a small rise right above the lower level of the property which is the old river bank. THe creature ran a long the wood line for about 10 feet or so before disappearing into the woods. I shot off my shotgun in the direction of the creature and we ran back to the house which was up by the road about 250 yds. We never saw it again and I spent a lot of time on that river day and night from Richmond, Tx up pass Fulshear, Tx.
