Witness Account:
I feel really weird doing this since it has been so long ago but maybe it may coincide with someone else and give a little more credit to the sighting. I was about thirty to forty miles west of Ozona on 10 heading east when on the South side of the road I saw a Large dark brown figure squatting on the hillside about 75 to 100 yards away. I stopped the rig to get a better look and my first thought was ok big boar or a bear, then thats when I got a surprise. This thing stood up and started walking away across the hillside and around/over the hill. I would have to guess the height about between 7 and 8 feet tall and weight about 400 pounds or so. It had a pretty good gate to it as it walked away. It never looked back and didn't seem to act freightend. The whole incident was maybe 3 to 5 min. at the most. I was always a skeptic until that day, but now I know they do exist. I hope this helps you out or helps maybe another persons reported sighting in that area around that same time. I'm sure it was July or August when I saw this. Also there were no side roads in the area where I saw this. Thank you for your time.
