- Class 1c
- Class 1, Corroboration: Reports involving a sighting, and accompanied by another form of support.1c An investigator determines that a visual encounter with a sasquatch/bigfoot by a very reliable observer is a distinct possibility, tangible corroborating evidence is documented, and all other sources can be reasonably ruled out.

- Class 3c
- Class 3, Credibility: Sightings or possible wood ape evidence reported by credible witnesses.3c No visual encounter occurred, but physical evidence was found to indicate the presence of a sasquatch/bigfoot (tracks, hair, scat, etc.), the observer is very reliable, and other sources can be reasonably ruled out.

Witness Account:
All that I saw was a big hairy creature run across the road in front of the car I was in, and jump a fence. I was riding around with my friend. It happened so fast. After it jumped the fence I could hear something in the woods.
Sounds:
Unfamiliar and strange screams, howls.
Additional observations:
I was at my friend's house which is located in Cypress Village, on the part of the lake that is known as The River. I was sitting outside on the steps and heard the most chilling scream I had ever heard. It scared me so much I went inside. After this experience I seldom went outside at night.
Investigator's Observations
Investigator(s): Charles DeVore
This investigation was conducted as a result of an incident that allegedly occurred in Harrison County, Texas, in 1984.
I interviewed this witness 25 February 2006 after she had seen the Travel Channel's Weird Travels show featuring the NAWAC. We discussed the area and people of the area for quite some time. While discussing the area, people and locations, we were able to pinpoint locations much better. The witness, who now lives in another state, relocated about 20 years ago; she was 17 years old at the time of the encounter.
During the interview, the witness told me that she and her friend were driving northeast on Cypress Drive turning right (north) on Blair's Landing Road when a creature quickly crossed the road just a few feet in front of their car.
The witness judged the height of the creature to be taller than that of her cousin, who is 6 feet 4 inches tall. The witness remembered that "dark hair" covered its entire body. She could not recall facial details as the animal did not look at them or make any body movement to indicate that it was aware of them.
Being quite startled, the witnesses did not stop. However, they were driving slowly with their windows down, making it easy to hear the sounds of the subject as it was moving through the woods. The very thick woods on both sides of the road made it impossible to see beyond the roadside foliage. There are no houses within sight of that location in either direction. The witnesses noticed no odor.
The witness and I discussed the loud screams that she reportedly heard while visiting friends in the Cypress Village section of Uncertain, Texas. The location is about two miles north of the sighting location and happened several months later. The scream was about five seconds in duration and was high-pitched, like that of a woman; in the witness's opinion, the vocalization was louder and longer than a human's scream.
On one other occasion, she heard the same type of scream just west of Highway 43 and Caddo Lake State Park. This area is approximately four miles southwest of the witness's reported sighting location.
In Harrison and Marion Counties, on both sides of Big Cypress Bayou River and Caddo Lake, there have been many reported sightings of large upright hairy bipeds throughout the years; the reports have continued right up to present day.
