Witness Account:
I saw the figure through my window, it just stood there just looking in at me. It didn't move or make any sound. I'm not sure how long it was there, it was already standing there when I happened to walk by and noticed something standing in front of the window and appeared to be looking in. About fifteen or so minutes later when I went to look at the window it was gone. The next day I went out to search for evidence but didn't find anything.
Sounds:
Heard no sounds.
Investigator's Observations
Investigator(s): Daryl Colyer
This investigation was conducted as a result of an incident that allegedly occurred near Bay City, Texas in Matagorda County in the summer of 1982.
After seeing a report on Channel 13, Houston about the 2004 Texas Bigfoot Conference, the witness felt compelled to share his experience.
The witness was home alone at the time of this encounter. He explained to me that the curtains in place were sheer, and he could see the animal peering into the house. He said that the animal was huge, both in width and height. Its width filled the width of the window, and it appeared to be stooped, peering in. He also said that he could make out one hand of the animal, that appeared to be clinched. He could not really see facial detail, but did remember seeing the eyes. Finally, after minutes of looking at the animal as it looked at him, the witness retrieved a 30.06 rifle and actually contemplated shooting through the window to rid himself of the strange animal, only to find it gone.
When his parents returned home, they did not believe him.
The witness stated that he has heard of other encounters in the area. The Colorado River is in close proximity to where he lived at the time of the incident.
